My totem . . . really good at keeping an eye on things. : ) by sjhl 2013.

Photo highlights from Day 6 – Butano SP to Costanoa KOA (6 miles : )

Day 6’s walk went unbelievably fast!

It felt like we finished almost immediately after we’d started.

Later, towards the end of the walk, many said that this was their favorite fire side evening. : )

I’d love to hear from you guys. What was your FAVORITE camp site? Fire side setting? Meal? Walk? Etc . . .

Signing off while sitting in a nice cafe in Capitola (Zelda’s on the Beach : ) and resting my dawgs.

Aloha Everyone!!!

Okay, I have to ask. Are you carrying your computer with you… or are you updating your blog and uploading your photos from your phone?

Yes. I have my computer, but I’m happily NOT carrying it while I walk. : )I CAN upload a post from my IPhone, but then I don’t have access to my photos from my groovy new camera (Lumix DMC-LX7. Thanks again Tony for researching cameras and finding a good one for me!!!)
      Other challenges are:
      access to electricity
      access to wi-fi
      access to phone reception.
IF I have power in my computer AND phone reception, I can have wi-fi through my personal hot spot.
      Sounds sexy doesn’t it?
Hmmm, I think there’s a metaphor in there. LOL!
But it works great when there’s good reception. Believe it or not, there are a lot of places in California without phone reception. I dictated all this by the way while walking to San Luis Obispo on Day 20 of the walk. Also while looking at a beautiful rock/mountain formation that reminds me of Haupu Ridge on Kauai. ;-)
